TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Services   

1a) Dream Cleaning Co. will provide all chemicals, cleaning materials, equipment and equipment repair costs, staff uniforms, training in the latest techniques to improve efficiency & productivity, OH&S training, control measures & conformity to legislation, personal protective equipment, wages, shift allowances and penalty rates, superannuation, legal costs involved in the employment of staff, holiday & sick allowances, cost of replacement staff whilst routine staff are on sick or holiday leave, management and supervision staff, wages and related costs, workers compensation, public liability insurance.

1b) Dream Cleaning Co. shall provide the services as set out in the quotation to which the acceptance of these terms relates. If at the commencement or during the Service, it appears that the actual cost of the Service will exceed the quotation provided by Dream Cleaning Co., management will provide the Customer with the option to pay the additional fee to complete the Service or pay the quoted amount without the full Service being completed.

1c) Dream Cleaning Co. will where required dispose of the site rubbish into bins provided by the Client. Where there are no bins on site Dream Cleaning Co. shall remove the rubbish for an additional fee.

2. Employees Award and Public Holidays

2a) Dream Cleaning Co. adheres strictly to the Cleaning Services Award and we pay all of our employee's award wages and conditions.

2b) Dream Cleaning Co. do not provide services on Public Holidays. If a client’s regular clean falls on a Public Holiday the clean will be cancelled if it cannot be moved or the client will be contacted to reschedule their clean.

2c) Where the client requires work to be performed on a Public Holiday or on a Saturday or Sunday, there will be an additional charge for this service.


3. Other Reasonable Service and Variations to Contract

3a) Dream Cleaning Co. shall endeavour to perform any other reasonable service requested by the client in addition to the tasks specified in the Cleaning Proposal and the client will incur an additional charge as agreed for those tasks.

4. Variation of Costs

4a) All charges will be subject to adjustment to incorporate increases in wages and related costs by any Labour Awards or Price Fixing Authority rises in chemical and equipment costs, local, state or federal government charges and any CPI adjustments.

4b) Charges will be adjusted periodically in accordance with movements in these areas. Dream Cleaning Co. will give 30 days' notice of such changes.


5. Payment Terms

5a) Overdue or unpaid accounts will be referred to a Debt Collector if all other avenues have been exhausted and reach 14 days Overdue.

5b) Once off cleans require a $120 + GST non-refundable deposit at least 24 hours prior to the service and the remaining amount is due 48 hours after the service is completed

5c) Invoices must be paid within 48 hours of receiving the invoice. If the payment is not made within 48 hours, an overdue fee equivalent to 10% of the invoiced amount may be charged weekly until the outstanding amount has been paid.  


6. Quotations

6a) If at the commencement or during the Service, it appears that the actual cost of the Service will exceed the quotation provided by Dream Cleaning Co., management will provide the Customer with the option to pay the additional fee to complete the Service or pay the quoted amount without the full Service being completed.

6b) All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of the quotation.​

7. Cancellations

7a) Any cancellations or rescheduling of Service will need to be made 48hrs prior to the date of the Service to avoid a cancellation fee. Late cancellation, within 24 hours of service will be charged 20% of the service, cancellation within 12 hours of the service will be charged 50% of the service.

7b) If Dream Cleaning Co. arrive at a property to complete the clean and are unable to get access the full quoted price will be charged.

7c) Please inform Dream Cleaning Co. if anyone is unwell within the household to reschedule the Service, refer to cancelation terms. We may still complete the clean if the person unwell is isolating in a separate room, please still notify Dream Cleaning Co. prior to your clean so that they can assess the risk of infection and take precautions to minimise the risk.


8. Debt collection and other costs

8a) The client must pay to Dream Cleaning Co. any debt collection costs incurred, including legal fees and costs associated with the recovery or attempted recovery, of any money payable under these Terms & Conditions.

9. Dissatisfaction of Service

9a) If the client is dissatisfied with the Service provided for any reason, it must be informed to Dream Cleaning Co. within 24 hours of completion of the Service. We will then review the issue and come back to the property to rectify it if necessary. No monetary refund will be issued.


10. Equipment

10a) Dream Cleaning Co. shall supply appropriate equipment which is best suited to the specifications of cleaning required. This property shall always remain the property of Dream Cleaning Co. and must not be used by unauthorised personnel, even when stored on the client’s premises or have written approval to do so by the management team.

11. Chemicals

11a) Dream Cleaning Co. shall, where practical, use chemicals with the lowest environmental impact which are commercially responsible and meet Work Safe Australia and Industry Standards.

12. Insurances

12a) Dream Cleaning Co. fully insures all members of staff for Workers Compensation and adheres to the statutory requirements from the State and Federal Governments.

12b) Dream Cleaning Co. carries $20 million dollars cover for Public Liability.

13. Occupational Health and Safety

13a) Every person at the place of work has a duty under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2000, whether as an employer, an employee, a self-employed person, a building owner, a property manager or a person in control of the workplace. While the obligations for each person are different, all persons must ensure that the way in which they carry out their work and the condition of the premises, does not interfere with the health and safety of other persons who are present or visit the place of work.

13b) No alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs may be bought onto or consumed or used at any of the Suppliers or Clients sites by any of our employees or sub-contractor.


​14. Customer and Employee Non-Interference

14a) The parties to the contract mutually acknowledge that Dream Cleaning Co. has a substantial investment in the training and preparation of its employees in order to fulfill its obligations.

14b) During the term of Dream Cleaning Co.’s services and for a period of 12 months following the termination of services, the client agrees not to employ any employee of Dream Cleaning Co. for the purpose of performing cleaning services. Legal action may be taken if this occurs.

14c) All enquiries, compliments, complaints or changes regarding the services provided must be addressed to our nominated Management of Dream Cleaning Co. and not through our staff.


15. Termination of Contract

15a) Cancellation of ongoing services will need written notice 14 days prior to the cancellation date.

15b) Termination of regular cleaning services can be made by Dream Cleaning Co. with written notice at any point in time.  


16. Confidentiality

16a) Dream Cleaning Co. will take all precautions to ensure confidential information and personal information is not shared to any third party at any time or permit or suffer such information to be disclosed or communicated without the authority of the Client.

16b) Dream Cleaning Co. may take progress photos during the duration of the clean for quality assurance purposes. These will not be used for any other purpose without the client's consent.


17. Service of Notices

17a) Any document, including a Payment Claim under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payments Act 1999 NSW is deemed to be have given or serviced if the document is:

a. Delivered by hand to the other party,

b. Posted by ordinary prepaid mail to the other party’s address stated in the Quotation on the second Business Day following the date of posting,

c. Sent by facsimile transmission to the parties’ last known facsimile number upon receiving confirmation of receipt of the transmission, or

d. sent by email to the parties’ last known email address upon receiving confirmation of delivery of the email without error.

18. Miscellaneous

18a) By proceeding with the quotation and continuing with our services the Client agrees to all of the above Terms & Conditions.
