
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Services
1a) Dream Cleaning Co. will provide all chemicals, cleaning materials, equipment and equipment repair costs, staff uniforms, training in the latest techniques to improve efficiency & productivity, OH&S training, control measures & conformity to legislation, personal protective equipment, wages, shift allowances and penalty rates, superannuation, legal costs involved in the employment of staff, holiday & sick allowances, cost of replacement staff whilst routine staff are on sick or holiday leave, management and supervision staff, wages and related costs, workers compensation, public liability insurance.
1b) Dream Cleaning Co. will where required dispose of the site rubbish into bins provided by the Client. Where there are no bins on site, Dream Cleaning Co. shall remove the rubbish for an additional fee.
1c) Dream Cleaning Co. operates across New South Wales and Queensland. All services are subject to the applicable laws and regulations of the relevant state in which the service is delivered.
2. Employees Award and Public Holidays
2a) Dream Cleaning Co. adheres strictly to the Cleaning Services Award and pays all employees award wages and conditions in accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009.
2b) Dream Cleaning Co. does not provide services on Public Holidays. Public holidays vary between NSW and QLD. If a client's regular clean falls on a Public Holiday applicable to the state in which the service is delivered, the clean will be cancelled if it cannot be moved, or the client will be contacted to reschedule.
2c) Where the client requires work to be performed on a Public Holiday, Saturday or Sunday, there will be an additional charge for this service.
3. Other Reasonable Service and Variations to Contract
3a) Dream Cleaning Co. shall endeavour to perform any other reasonable service requested by the client in addition to the tasks specified in the Cleaning Proposal. The client will incur an additional charge as agreed in writing for those tasks.
3b) Verbal requests for additional or varied services made on the day of a clean do not constitute an agreed variation. All scope changes must be confirmed in writing (including via email or SMS) prior to additional work commencing. Dream Cleaning Co. reserves the right to decline additional requests that cannot be reasonably accommodated within the scheduled timeframe.
4. Variation of Costs
4a) All charges will be subject to adjustment to incorporate increases in wages and related costs arising from any Labour Awards or Price Fixing Authority, rises in chemical and equipment costs, local, state or federal government charges, and any CPI adjustments applicable in NSW or QLD.
4b) Charges will be adjusted periodically in accordance with movements in these areas. Dream Cleaning Co. will provide 30 days' written notice of any such changes.
5. Payment Terms
5a) All prices quoted are exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. GST will be itemised separately on all invoices.
5b) Once-off cleans require a 50% deposit of the quoted services at least 24 hours prior to the service. The remaining balance is due within 48 hours of the service being completed.
5c) Invoices must be paid within 48 hours of receipt. If payment is not received within 48 hours, an overdue fee equivalent to 10% of the invoiced amount (excluding GST) may be applied weekly until the outstanding amount is paid in full.
5d) Overdue or unpaid accounts will be referred to a debt collection agency if all reasonable avenues have been exhausted and the account remains outstanding for 14 or more days.
6. Quotations
6a) If at the commencement or during the Service, it appears that the actual cost will exceed the quoted amount, Dream Cleaning Co. management will provide the Customer with the option to pay the additional fee to complete the Service, or pay the quoted amount with partial completion of the Service.
6b) All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
7. Cancellations
7a) Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled service to avoid a cancellation fee. The following fees apply:

Cancellation within 24 hours of service: 20% of the quoted service fee

Cancellation within 12 hours of service: 50% of the quoted service fee
7b) If Dream Cleaning Co. staff arrive at a property and are unable to gain access, the full quoted price will be charged.
7c) Please inform Dream Cleaning Co. if any person within the household is unwell prior to the scheduled service. We may still proceed if the unwell person is isolating in a separate room, however, Dream Cleaning Co. must be notified in advance to assess infection risk and implement appropriate precautions.
8. Debt Collection and Other Costs
8a) The client must pay to Dream Cleaning Co. any debt collection costs incurred, including legal fees and costs associated with the recovery or attempted recovery of any money payable under these Terms & Conditions, whether in NSW or QLD.
9. Damage and Breakage
9a) Dream Cleaning Co. takes all reasonable care when working in client properties. In the event that a Dream Cleaning Co. staff member accidentally causes damage to a client's property, the client must notify Dream Cleaning Co. in writing within 24 hours of the service being completed.
9b) Dream Cleaning Co. will assess reported damage claims and, where liability is accepted, will arrange repair or reasonable compensation at our discretion. Claims reported outside the 24-hour window may not be considered.
9c) Dream Cleaning Co. is not liable for pre-existing damage, items of fragile or uncertain value not disclosed prior to the clean, or damage caused by third parties.
10. Key and Access Management
10a) Where Dream Cleaning Co. is provided with keys, access codes, or other means of entry to a client's property, these will be stored securely and used solely for the purpose of delivering the agreed service.
10b) Client access information will not be shared with unauthorised third parties. In the event of a key being lost or an access code being compromised, Dream Cleaning Co. will notify the client immediately.
10c) The client is responsible for ensuring that Dream Cleaning Co. staff can safely and legally access the property at the time of the scheduled service.
11. Dissatisfaction of Service
11a) If the client is dissatisfied with the service provided for any reason, Dream Cleaning Co. must be informed within 24 hours of the service being completed. We will review the matter and return to rectify the issue if required. No monetary refund will be issued.
12. Equipment
12a) Dream Cleaning Co. shall supply appropriate equipment best suited to the specifications of the cleaning required. All equipment remains the property of Dream Cleaning Co. at all times and must not be used by unauthorised personnel, even when temporarily stored on the client's premises, unless written approval has been provided by Dream Cleaning Co. management.
13. Chemicals
13a) Dream Cleaning Co. shall, where practical, use chemicals with the lowest environmental impact that are commercially responsible and meet Safe Work Australia standards and applicable industry standards in both NSW and Queensland.
14. Insurances
14a) Dream Cleaning Co. fully insures all staff for Workers Compensation in accordance with the statutory requirements of both NSW and Queensland state governments, and the relevant provisions of the Fair Work Act 2009.
14b) Dream Cleaning Co. carries $20 million in Public Liability Insurance cover, applicable across all operating states.
15. Occupational Health and Safety
15a) All parties at the place of work have duties under applicable Work Health and Safety legislation, including the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (NSW) and the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (QLD). All persons — whether employer, employee, self-employed, building owner, property manager, or person in control of a workplace — must ensure their conduct and the condition of the premises does not interfere with the health and safety of others present or visiting.
15b) No alcoholic beverages or illegal substances may be brought onto, consumed, or used at any supplier or client site by any Dream Cleaning Co. employee or subcontractor.
15c) Dream Cleaning Co. reserves the right to refuse to commence or continue a clean if staff determine that the working environment poses an unreasonable risk to their health or safety. In such cases, the client will be notified and a reschedule arranged where possible.
16. Customer and Employee Non-Interference
16a) The parties acknowledge that Dream Cleaning Co. has made a substantial investment in the recruitment, training and development of its employees.
16b) During the term of Dream Cleaning Co.'s services, and for a period of 12 months following the termination of services, the client agrees not to directly or indirectly employ, engage, or solicit any Dream Cleaning Co. employee for the purpose of performing cleaning services. Dream Cleaning Co. reserves the right to take legal action if this clause is breached.
16c) All enquiries, compliments, complaints or changes regarding the services provided must be directed to Dream Cleaning Co. management and not communicated directly to cleaning staff.
17. Photography and Social Media Consent
17a) Dream Cleaning Co. may take before and after photographs during the course of a clean for internal quality assurance purposes.
17b) These photographs may be taken and used for social media content, marketing, or training purposes. Any photographs taken for these purpose will exclude any personal information to protect your privacy. If you are not comfortable with your photographs being used in this way, please contact Dream Cleaning Co so we can ensure they are not used.
18. Termination of Contract
18a) Cancellation of ongoing services by the client requires written notice at least 14 days prior to the intended cancellation date.
18b) Dream Cleaning Co. reserves the right to terminate regular cleaning services by providing written notice to the client at any time.
19. Confidentiality
19a) Dream Cleaning Co. will take all reasonable precautions to ensure that confidential and personal information is not disclosed to any third party without the authority of the client, in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
19b) This obligation of confidentiality continues following the termination of any service agreement.
20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
20a) These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and, where applicable, the laws of the state in which the relevant service is delivered — being New South Wales or Queensland.
20b) Any dispute arising from these Terms & Conditions will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the applicable state. Dream Cleaning Co. and the client agree to attempt to resolve disputes in good faith before initiating formal proceedings.
21. Service of Notices
21a) Any document, including a Payment Claim under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payments Act 1999 (NSW) or the Building Industry Fairness (Security of Payment) Act 2017 (QLD), is deemed to have been given or served if the document is:

Delivered by hand to the other party;

Posted by ordinary prepaid mail to the other party's address stated in the Quotation, on the second Business Day following the date of posting;

Sent by facsimile transmission upon receiving confirmation of receipt; or
-
Sent by SMS or email to the party's last known phone number or email address upon receiving confirmation of delivery without error.
22. Miscellaneous
22a) By proceeding with a quotation and continuing with Dream Cleaning Co.'s services, the client agrees to all of the above Terms & Conditions.
22b) Dream Cleaning Co. reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of material changes with 30 days' written notice. Continued use of Dream Cleaning Co.'s services following notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
22c) If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, unenforceable or illegal, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

We love animals, but for the safety of your pets and our team, please make sure furry family members are secured or kept in a separate area during your clean. This also helps us work more efficiently throughout your home!
